British recruitment businesses win on consultant time and lose on research capacity. We supply the research — mapping, longlisting, candidate identification, contact data and compliance admin — under your brand, on fixed monthly capacity rather than a share of your margin.
Most British recruitment businesses reach the same ceiling. Consultants who are good at winning and closing business spend half their week on research, data entry and compliance chasing. Hiring more consultants to fix that is expensive and slow; hiring junior resourcers works until the first quiet quarter, at which point the fixed cost becomes the problem.
Outsourced research capacity solves the sequencing. You buy a defined number of research hours or deliverables per month, scale them up when the desk is busy and down when it is not, and keep your consultants on the phone. Because we work under your brand and inside your systems, your clients and candidates experience it as your team — because in every way that matters to them, it is.
We work with UK contingency and retained agencies, executive search firms, RPOs and in-house talent functions. The commercial model is the same in each case: a fixed fee for defined capacity, never a share of your placement fee and never a rebate arrangement.
Researched, name-level longlists against your brief, delivered in your template and loaded into your CRM if you want them there.
Client-facing market maps and competitor structures produced in your format, with your logo, for you to present as your own work.
Verified direct dials, mobiles and business emails researched to your target list and delivered CRM-ready for Bullhorn, Vincere, JobAdder or RecruitCRM.
Right to Work, DBS, registration and reference chasing kept audit-ready, plus an out-of-hours desk answering in your agency's name.
We start by learning your desk: the sectors you cover, the clients you serve, the format your consultants want work delivered in, and the systems it has to land in. Most UK agencies we support give us access to their CRM so the output arrives where the consultant expects it rather than as an email attachment somebody has to process.
Work is then briefed role by role or as a standing programme. A typical arrangement is a fixed number of longlists, maps or contact records per month, with an agreed turnaround and a named researcher who learns your market rather than a rotating pool who never do. Where a client-facing deliverable is involved — a market map, a salary benchmark, a diversity report — it is produced in your template and branding, and we stay entirely invisible.
Confidentiality runs both ways and is contractual. We do not disclose that we work with you, we do not approach your clients, and we do not recycle research produced for one agency into work for another.
Boutique UK search firms who win mandates on relationships and cannot justify a full-time research function. Contingency agencies whose consultants are losing billable hours to sourcing. RPOs who need surge capacity on a client programme without permanent headcount. Healthcare and locum desks who need registration verification and out-of-hours cover.
In-house talent acquisition teams use the same model, usually to add mapping and market intelligence capability their function was never resourced for, and to reduce dependence on agency supply.
Fixed monthly capacity agreements, project fees for one-off pieces, or a hybrid of the two. Nothing is contingent on your placements, there is no rebate mechanism to argue about, and there is no percentage of your fee. That matters commercially: research supplied at a fixed cost improves the margin on every placement it contributes to, rather than diluting it.
Agreements are normally reviewed quarterly so capacity can be adjusted as your desk moves. Most UK clients start with a single month of defined work before committing to anything ongoing.
Yes. Deliverables are produced in your template and branding, we work inside your systems where you want us to, and we do not disclose the relationship. As far as your clients and candidates are concerned, it is your team.
As fixed monthly capacity or a project fee, never as a share of your placement fee and never with a rebate arrangement. Research at a fixed cost improves your margin rather than diluting it.
No. Non-solicitation is contractual. We do not approach your clients, and research produced for one agency is never reused for another.
Bullhorn, Vincere, JobAdder, RecruitCRM, Salesforce and most common UK systems. Where you would rather we stayed out of the CRM, we deliver to your import template instead.
Yes. Most UK agencies begin with a single month of defined work — a few longlists or a contact research batch — before agreeing anything ongoing.
Tell us the market, the role or the question. Thirty minutes is usually enough to know whether we can help and what the right shape of project would be — and the fee is always fixed and agreed before anything begins.
